Long ago abandoned for their use as a horse yard, these fences show as a history of these rugged lands.
Sandy soils, Cypress Pines, Spinifex and Lemon Scented Grasses and the Rich Blue Sky; all are typical of the region.
What I love about this view is the history and the magnificent Wilpena Pound in the distance. It shows as man has a presence in the old landscape, but it fades and withers while the land itself endures and reclaims the land.
